To be a Notary Public all you really need as far as supplies go is a stamp, log book, and a pen. However to be a signing agent a little more equipment is required. You will need an all in one printer scanner, a computer, internet, and other supplies. This guide is a start or suggestion. It is not all inclusive. You must tailor your equipment to your needs.
Printer
My go to printer for signing agents is an all in one laser printer, copier, and scanner. I prefer a monochrome printer with a document feeder, because scanning is sometimes involved and trying to scan a two hundred pages with a flatbed scanner is a nightmare. Your printer scanner should be able to use legal size and letter size.
